What items are not migrating to the new EBSCO Interface?
Answer
Please note, while EBSCO is migrating most of the MyEbsco folders, EBSCO is NOT migrating the following:
- ANY Custom folder
- ANY Shared folder
- Companies folder
- Pages folder
- Notes folder
- Other Content Sources folder
- Persistent Links to Searches folder
- Web Pages folder
- Search Alerts
- Publication Alerts
Where the Custom and Shared Folders are located:
If you have or currently use any of these folders and would like to migrate this data to the new interface, please do the following:
- For articles and eBooks in folders, move all items to the My Folder folder. Step by Step instructions are available here.
- For saved searches in the Persistent Link to Searches folder, move all searches to the Saved Searches folder. Step by Step instructions are available here.
- Search Alerts and Publication Alerts will NOT migrate, so please copy any information you would like to keep for your own records.
If you do not complete these steps prior to December 17th, these types of saved items will NOT migrate successfully. You will have the ability to download a CSV file of your folder data in the new interface after the migration, however. If you have any problems with this process, please reach out to the UCBA Library as soon as possible.
