Do I need my ID to use the library?

A valid photo ID (UC ID Bearcat Card or Driver's License or State/Federal Issued ID) is required for all library transactions (borrowing materials, equipment, etc.). Community borrowers and patrons with affiliated institutions (such as OhioLINK or SearchOhio) must present their institution's ID as well. A UC ID or a valid photo ID may be requested at any time to verify age, status, or affiliation.
