How do I know if an article is a good resource for my assignment?
Answer
There isn't a checklist that decides if a source of information is credible, trustworthy, and/or appropriate for the assignment, however, you can explore the Evaluate Sources page on the the Beyond the Basics guide to learn how to:
- Ask questions to determine if a source will fit your needs.
- View the Evaluating Information Sources video (3:18 minutes) which introduces the concept of evaluating information to determine credibility.
