The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash (UCBA) College Library provides a multi-tiered approach to information literacy and teaching support. It's designed to align with academic goals and enhance student success while ensuring flexibility to adapt to an evolving information world.
Information Literacy & Teaching Support
These are for all modalities and use an outcomes-based curriculum to best meet the learning needs of the course:
- Instruction sessions
- Orientation/outreach visits
- Stand-alone instructional content for courses
- Research assignment design consultations
Class Visits to Library
Faculty are welcome to bring their classes into the Library for brief sessions such as orientation tours or research activities. To ensure adequate space, resources, and staffing, all class visits must be scheduled in advance with the faculty member’s designated library faculty liaison.
Guidelines
- Requests need to be submitted (using Form) at least seven business days in advance
- Timing of the request should align with the research assignment, if applicable
- Faculty must be present
- Inform the librarian if there are accessibility or accommodation needs for your students
