Does the UCBA Library lend laptops?

Answer

Dell laptops with Internet access and MS Office 2013 are available for check-out to UCBA students in good standing  (i.e. no outstanding library materials or replacement fines).

  • Laptops are only available on a first-come, first-served basis at the UCBA Library Information Desk. The Library has a limited number of laptops to lend. 
  • Borrowers must agree to and sign a UCBA Library Equipment Borrower's Agreement stating the borrower is responsible for the cost of any damages while in their custody, up to the replacement cost of the laptop.
  • Only one laptop may be checked out per student account.
  • Laptops are available for 3 Day Loans. Laptops may be taken off campus and must be returned by the due date to avoid fines and suspension of borrowing privileges. *Communication is important. If unique circumstances prevent you from returning laptops on time, communicate with us
