What spaces are available at the Marcotte Library?
Answer
The Marcotte Library's first floor offers computers, printing, open study space, casual seating, and two collaboration rooms. First floor rooms are video conference rooms and only available for group study if they aren't reserved.
The second floor offers quiet study space. It has open study space, computers, and individualized rooms. There are also two group study rooms that must maintain a quiet volume. The library's 2nd floor is only quiet study space available to students on campus. To foster an academic learning environment, the following rules will be strictly enforced on the 2nd floor:
- No cell phone conversations
- No children
- Group study and conversation should be limited to study rooms
- Some tables are reserved for tutoring and the Learning Commons. Signage will be posted.
