How can I schedule the UCBA Prayer and Meditation Room?

The Prayer and Meditation Room is located in Room 115F in the UCBA Library and can be reserved by UC students, staff and faculty. Those using the space are asked to do so respectfully while observing appropriate physical distancing/masking precautions where applicable. 

Reserving the Prayer and Meditation Room

  • Reserve the Prayer and Meditation Room online.
  • UC ID or Driver’s License required to check in for reservation
  • Reservations are first come, first served, with the option to reserve up to 2 weeks in advance
  • Book in 30-minute blocks (up to 1.5 hours/day)
  • Reservations must be claimed within 15 minutes or they will be cancelled

Availability

Fall/Spring reservations available:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Fall Reading Days: See Website for Hours  

Summer reservations available:

  • Monday - Thursday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Friday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Semester Breaks and Holidays: Closed

Reservation Guidelines

When you reserve the Prayer and Meditation room, you agree to the following:

  • Access: For UC student, faculty and staff use only
  • Occupancy: 1 person per reservation; maximum 3 people in the room
  • Purpose: Quiet meditation, prayer, or silent reflection only. Not for lounging, studying, or meetings
  • Respect others: Keep noise to a minimum
  • After use: Leave promptly at the end of your reservation and return all items to their place
  • Food & drink: Water bottles allowed; all other food and drink prohibited
